TANMAY BISWAS

Tanmay Biswas is an Associate Professor at the Department of Accounting at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU). He attended the University of Rajshahi for his bachelor's and master's degrees from the Department of Accounting & Information Systems. He completed another masters in Applied Statistics and Data Science Under the Department of Statistics from Jahangirnagar University. Tanmay Biswas is working in the position of Associate Professor since April 1, 2023 and has worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Accounting at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) in Bangladesh from February 20, 2020, to March 31, 2023. He also worked as a lecturer (from February 22, 2016, to February 21, 2018) as well as an Assistant Professor (from February 22, 2018, to February 19, 2020) at the Department of Business Administration in the same university. He is doing his research based on the topics relating to financial reporting, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Extinction Accounting & Sustainability Reporting, Integrated reporting, stock market research, psychology of stakeholders, capital Structure, environmental risk management, intellectual capital, and environmental social and governance reporting. He has some publications in different recognized international journals such as the International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management, The Bottom Line, Global Business Review, International Journal of Financial Engineering, Asian Journal of Accounting Research, FIIB Business Review, The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Business (JAFEB) and Journal of Business Administration Research etc.
